I have been curious about the human condition most of my life. It was experiencing my own recovery from trauma and addictions that finally motivated me to seek training in counseling from Vanderbilt University. I gained professional experience working with these issues through employment with Cumberland Heights Treatment Center and The Ranch Treatment Center. I moved to Chattanooga, TN in September, 2016 to continue my work in an outpatient environment. I continue to pursue personal and professional growth, knowing that without the first, the second is meaningless.

  • EMDR-Parts 1 & 2
    • EMDR is a specialized modality for the treatment of unresolved trauma. Attending over 40 hours of training and receiving supervised practice gave me the knowledge and skills to use EMDR with traumatized clients. EMDR has been empirically shown to be one of the most effective treatments of PTSD. EMDR was created by Dr. Francine Shapiro.
